The God we serve is indeed the God of restoration. Thanksgiving  is an expression of gratitude. It is a disposition or state of mind towards someone who has done something for the beneficiary. In this case our focus of thanking or gratitude throughout this talk shall be on God.Praise and thanksgiving is a command and God delights in it when its offered unto him with a pure heart and uncompromising attention . How ever God also delights in our personal thanksgiving at all times,  even when things are not doing well, we are admonished to give him thanks.1 Thessalonians  5:18 "In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you".

As against the claims of atheists and agnostics peopel through the centuries, man cannot live without God. Man can have a mortal existence without acknowledging God, but not without the fact of God. As the Creator, God originated human life. To say that man can exist apart from God is to say that a watch can exist without a watchmaker or a story can exist without a storyteller. We owe our being to the God in whose image we are made (Genesis 1:27). Our existence depends on God, whether we acknowledge His existence or not. What is the cause of the unbelievable difference between these two men of almost equal opportunity and talent. When you visit a manufacturing plant, and see how people run helter-skelter any time the machinnes break down and there is setback in production, you would think war has broken out somewhere. The need for personal revival cannot be overemphasised and there is no price too high to pay in order to experiance and maintain the fire of personal revival. Personal revival gives birth to spiritual vision and according to the testimony of the bible " where there is no vison the people perish". If the people  of our own generation are not to perish and if life the church must be militant and ever shape ,taking the kingdom by force, then our ministers must be men and women who maintain a life of constant spiritual revival God's desire is not to have ministers who are heavy, cold and dead.
