Preparing for marriage part two

I will be sharing with you some powerful keys in making the right choice. Genesis  2:18" And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him."The creator knows what is best for man and so provides a “ suitable help-mate”. Marriage is Gods idea, God-given relationship for the display of man's natural affections and desires.

 REQUIREMENTS FOR  MARRIAGE

1)Grow up to know the need.Genesis 2:18"it is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a help meet for him .Untill you discover the need and develop a desire  for it, it remains impossible. (The desire to get married is a force that can lead to the place of provision)Proverbs  10:24" The fear of the wicked, it shall come upon him: but the desire of the righteous shall be granted"

 What is desire?

Tohave a strong desire and be filled with anticipation and confidence in obtaining what is hoped for and expected. (You can't separate desire and expectation. Realize there are God desires and heart desires. Psalms  20:4" Grant thee according to thine own heart, and fulfil all thy counsel".

 The distance between single-hood and marriage when of age character wise,financially,spiritually and emotionally, is called desire. To be cont..........

DEALING WITH THE SPIRIT BEHIND LABOURING IN VAIN. Unity is.................. Oneness (Opposite of I Corinthians 1:10-13). Same Mind (Romans 12:16, Philippians 3:16). One Heart (Acts 4:32). Same Goal (Luke 19:10).   Hindrances to Unity. 1)The My Way or the Highway AttitudeBackbiting and gossiping (Romans 1:30, Proverbs 25:23, Proverbs 20:19) 2)Complaining and murmuring (Philippians 2:14, 3)never  happy with the success of others 4)Apathy (Just don’t care about anything).   5)Unfaithfulness (Revelation 2:10, Matthew 6:33). 6)Old Squabbles (Philippians 4:2, Ruth).
