Restoration
The God we serve is indeed the God of restoration. Restoration is the act of bringing back a person or thing to the original or former condition or position (Genesis 40:21 "And he restored the chief butler unto his butlership again; and he gave the cup into Pharaoh's hand" 1 Kings 13:6 "And the king answered and said unto the man of God, Intreat now the face of the LORD thy God, and pray for me, that my hand may be restored me again. And the man of God besought the LORD, and the king's hand was restored him again, and became as it was before"). it is a situation whereby, what was wrong, spoiled destroyed or damaged has to be repaired, or refurnished back to its original condition or position. it is to make good what was bad or the setting in order of a thing that is fast losing its value or worth ( 1 kings18 : 30 - 33 ).
